Some destinations allow students of, long term, language programs to work while study, while other destinations studying and working, are only allowed when the student is attending a Vocational, College or University program designed to lead you directly to career opportunities in a particular field.

What is a Co-op practicum term?

Co-op work practicum term allows the student to work full-time on the studied field (during the Co-op work term you have no classes), earning valuable practical skills and, integrating academic studies with related employment experience, before graduation.

Sales & Marketing
(with Co-op)

The Sales & Marketing Diploma program combines the latest trends in sales and marketing with hands-on experience that will help you practice the skills you have learned in class.

The curriculum covers key areas of professional communication, organizational behaviour, project management, social media and digital marketing, brand promotion and professional sales.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is a globally-recognized MBA degree accredited by ACBSP.

It will prepare students to take the most challenging situations in stride, to apply pragmatic solutions to problems and ultimately drive the success of an organization with informed decision-making.

Students will be ready for leadership on the global stage.

Program highlights

  • Full-time students who qualify are permitted to work off-campus up to 20 hours per week during their study component (2 years).
  • Due to its PGWP eligibility, some eligible graduates are allowed to work full-time for up to three years, after graduation, increasing their chances to become permanent residents in Canada.
  • It is an ACBSP accredited degree program.
  • It is delivered by a team of knowledgeable faculty with many years of industry experience.
  • It contains digital components in particular courses in collaboration with Salesforce, Tableau and IBM.
Admission requirements

A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.33 scale (or equivalent) or better and have one of the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years documented professional or management experience.
  • Acceptable score on a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) that has
    been written in the last five years.
  • An appropriate Canadian professional designation or equivalent international designation (e.g. CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, etc).
  • Academic IELTS – 6.5 or better with a minimum of 6.0 in the writing band, or equivalent.

Applicants who do not hold all of the above academic and professional requirements may also qualify for entry to the MBA program after completing the MBA Foundation program.

Bachelor of Commerce (Business and Management)

Based in Vancouver, Canada, this ACBSP-accredited degree prepares students for a successful career in business or management, where they will contribute constructively to a global economy.

  • Full-time students who qualify are permitted to work off-campus up to 20 hours per week during their study component (2 years).
  • Due to its PGWP eligibility, some eligible graduates are allowed to work full-time for up to three years, after graduation, increasing their chances to become permanent residents in Canada.
  • It is an ACBSP accredited degree program.
  • Has a diverse class profile enabling students to learn from each other’s experiences.
  • Is taught through a combination of team activities, lectures, class discussions and more.
Admission requirements
  • 21 years of age or older and out of high school for at least 2 years.
  • Documented success through academic, professional or volunteer activities.
  • Academic IELTS – 6.5 or better with a minimum of 6.0 in the writing band, or equivalent (for students whose first language is not English). 

You can complete the English pathway courses (University Access Program) in order to meet the English proficiency requirements of the Bachelor of Commerce program.
